Living bamboos are beautiful, majestic plants which have many uses in the landscape.

Grow bamboo as a stand alone ornamental. Some have weeping leaves which make stunning centerpieces that compliment any garden style.

Clumping bamboo originates from tropical and temperate rainforests.  This gives it the versatility of being grown in either shade or full sun.

Tall bamboos are great for blocking out multistory dwellings.  Their erect habit means they can block heights of up to 20 meters and require very little ground space to do this.  If your neighbor can peer in and see what is happening in your backyard then you need bamboo.

It is an excellent windbreak.   Bamboo can give you back the use of certain areas which are usually not enjoyable due to the wind.  For example you may wish to put a row of bamboo along a balcony to create privacy and keep the breeze at bay.

No other plant is able to compete with the beauty and growth speed of bamboo.
